Refrigeration Fittings FAQ
Practical answers about Yijin copper and aluminum fittings — from drawings, quotations and samples to inspection, delivery and repeat orders.
How can we maintain consistency for repeat orders?
Reference the approved part number, drawing revision, material specification, sample approval, inspection plan and packing requirements in each repeat order. Clearly identify any change in geometry, material, quantity or acceptance criteria before production is confirmed. Retain batch and inspection records so any later question can be linked to the correct order and manufacturing requirements.
Can these fittings be used in any refrigerant system or installed directly?
Do not assume universal compatibility or a working-pressure rating from a product photograph or family name. The responsible system engineer must confirm material compatibility, operating conditions, connection design, applicable standards and installation requirements. Installation and joining should be performed by qualified personnel using the approved specification and system instructions.
What should we do if parts are damaged or do not match the agreed specification?
Identify the affected parts and separate them from accepted stock. Contact Yijin with the order number, part and batch references, quantity affected, photographs, measurements and the applicable drawing or acceptance criteria. Keep the packaging where relevant. The cause, further evidence and an appropriate resolution are reviewed against the agreed order terms; do not modify disputed parts before the review is coordinated.
What should we check when the fittings arrive?
Check the shipment against the purchase order and packing list: part number, drawing revision, quantity, labels and visible package condition. Inspect the agreed dimensions and other acceptance criteria using the approved inspection plan. Keep batch identification and relevant records, and retain the packaging and photographs if transport damage or another discrepancy is found.
How should packaging and shipment requirements be specified?
Tell us the required protection for tube ends and surfaces, cleanliness controls, pack quantity, identification labels and any pallet or carton requirements. Include the delivery destination, preferred transport method and requested trade term. Packing, freight responsibility, delivery timing and shipping documents are confirmed in the quotation or order agreement.
Can Yijin provide RoHS, REACH or other supporting documents?
The company brochure includes RoHS and REACH test-report material. Request documents relevant to the exact material, component and order, and check the tested sample, report date, scope and applicable requirements. A report for one sample or material should not be treated as evidence that every product or future batch meets all market requirements.
What quality and inspection information can buyers request?
Share the inspection methods, acceptance criteria and records required for your part. The company brochure describes process data collection, recording of pressure, temperature and speed, approval of process changes, production traceability and laboratory facilities. Our team can confirm the relevant inspection scope and available documents for the selected component; specific test ranges and report applicability require technical review.
What are the minimum order quantity, price and lead time?
MOQ, pricing and lead time are confirmed for the component and order. Relevant factors include material, geometry, tooling, inspection scope, batch quantity, packing and current production arrangements. Ask for a written quotation that separates part pricing from tooling, samples, testing, freight and other charges, and confirms the delivery basis and validity of the offer.
Can I request samples before placing a production order?
Yes, you can request a sample feasibility review. Send the drawing or sample reference, material specification, quantity and evaluation requirements. Sample availability, tooling needs, charges, freight and timing are confirmed for the individual project. Agree the sample approval criteria and the production drawing revision before moving to a batch order.
Are fitting dimensions and material grades standard or drawing-based?
The components shown on this website are product-family examples. Dimensions, material grade, wall thickness, bend geometry and end connections are confirmed for the selected part. Do not infer measurements or pressure ratings from a photograph. Send a controlled drawing or an agreed sample specification so the quotation and inspection plan refer to the same requirements.
How do I choose between copper and aluminum fittings?
Selection depends on the system design, joining method, operating conditions, corrosion environment, mechanical requirements and compatibility with adjacent materials. A lower material price alone does not determine suitability. Have the responsible engineer specify the material grade and acceptance requirements, then ask Yijin to review manufacturing feasibility for that specification.
What information should I include in a request for quotation?
Include the part number and drawing revision, copper or aluminum grade, tube outside diameter and wall thickness, port dimensions, formed geometry, tolerances, sample and batch quantities, inspection requirements, packaging needs and delivery destination. Identify any details that are still open. A complete brief helps suppliers quote to the same component and commercial assumptions.
Can Yijin manufacture fittings from our drawing or sample?
Send the current drawing revision, dimensions, tolerances, material grade, port details and target quantity. A sample or photograph can help identify the component, but hidden dimensions and acceptance criteria still need to be defined. Our team will review manufacturing feasibility and confirm any tooling, sample and inspection requirements before an order is agreed.
Which refrigeration fittings does Yijin manufacture?
Yijin manufactures copper and aluminum refrigeration components, including copper tees and branch fittings, aluminum tees, return bends, U-bends and formed tube assemblies. Product suitability is reviewed against the drawing, material specification, connection requirements and intended application. Browse the product families, then send your part reference and quantity for a technical review.
